ITM-Islander- Quick Tips

Tips for capturing Nature
As I am going to be zooming in and focusing on details within my main landscape footage, I wanted to see if there were any tips from photography that I could use for capturing. Though the two links below are purely aimed at shooting macro photography, I can still take some tips such as making sure I focus on the details so the background becomes out of focus to show what the main subject is during the footage. Bringing how I feel whilst I am at the specific location could definitely be something to bare in mind when not only do I capture the landscape, but when I decide what to focus into as it could change the final feel.
Something that made me realise that all I need to do is shoot as much as possible and take the chance to go to a location randomly on any day to see the vibe it has when the camera is set up. Trial and error is something that may happen during a shoot but if the weather isn't right and doesn't feel right to you, then don't shoot and move onto something else as there is time to go back another day when it is better.

Though this isn't something I have planned for my Islander project, creating Bokeh could be an interesting approach if shooting in low light if there are lights around such as street lights or house lights. I have seen with nature photography and some nature footage, that sometimes bokeh appears when shooting macro/up close as the background blurs to focus on the main details.  I probably won't use it as it may not fit in with the approach I have taken for 'Islander', it is something I can keep in mind whilst capturing footage and take a look back for future project in case I actually want to experiment with Bokeh.
